Maximum Likelihood Estimation in Gaussian Process Regression is Ill-Posed
Paper review as part of the Machine Learning Seminar (COMP0179) module at UCL, taught by Marc Deisenroth and Brooks Paige.
These slides were used as part of an assessed presentation for the Machine Learning Seminar module at UCL. I summarised and reviewed the paper “Maximum Likelihood Estimation in Gaussian Process Regression is Ill-Posed” by Toni Karvonen and Chris J. Oates, for an audience composed of other members of the cohort.
